“Over the past two years I have been painting a series of large watercolour abstracts. These consist of as many as 165 individually painted blocks each of which may contain up to eight pigments. Added to some of these artworks is text. I wanted to explore the rich vibrancy and textural qualities of watercolour and inadvertently I seem to have created the ultimate challenge for the printer, from capture to manipulation to printing, for the inks and the paper. However, OGL rose to the challenge and have produced a print as close to the original as is possible.
